MTI History
In the early 1990s, most invoices
and bills were prepared and mailed using multiple, unconnected and
mechanical cutting, folding, inserting and metering machines. In
1991, Mail Technologies, Inc. formed to apply the growing promise
of networked, automated technologies. This new technology improved
the quality and reduced the cost of billing and mailing operations.
As the USPS was just beginning to implement automation, and a first
generation of computer-based equipment became available, MTI correctly
anticipated a major shift in the mailing business.

Realizing that a company could
deploy modern technology and deliver new levels of quality and speed,
MTI today is a highly networked companyleveraging data and
processing equipment to accurately process millions of mail pieces
each month.
